Meet Ari

Meet Ariana Barnett, a mother, navy wife, public servant, and lifelong Californian. Ari has dedicated her career to serving her community and fighting for progressive policies.

Ariana's background is in public service, having served as a city council member and mayor of her hometown of Buena Park, and two terms representing North Orange County and Greater Los Angeles County in the U.S. House of Representatives. During her time in office, she worked tirelessly to improve access to affordable housing, promote environmental sustainability, and expand economic opportunities for all residents. 

In addition to her work in local government, Ariana has also been a strong advocate for social justice and equity. She has been actively involved in campaigns to promote civil rights, protect immigrant rights, and combat police brutality. She has also been a vocal advocate for women's rights, fighting for policies that promote gender equity and protect reproductive freedom.

Her experience, dedication, and policy expertise make her the ideal candidate to represent Californians as the youngest woman to ever serve in the Senate. Ari looks forward to the opportunity to further serve her state and make a difference in the lives of all Californians.

In her free time, Ari loves trying out new recipes with her family, hiking in Newport Beach, and watching Disney movies with her kids, Ryan and Kyra.
