Throughout the duration of her term, Ariana Barnett will combat the gun violence epidemic by supporting and authoring bills that:

• Advocate for universal background checks on all gun sales

• Close the “gun show loophole” and “boyfriend loophole”

• Support the ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines

• Require individuals to get a license or permit through both background and mental health checks and safety training
