Combatting the Climate Crisis

​Ari recognizes that climate change is real, and it is vital that we do something now before irreversible damage ensues.

Throughout the duration of her term, Ariana Barnett will combat the climate crisis by supporting and authoring bills that help us:

​

• Transition to clean and green energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions

• Invest in green infrastructure and encourage the use of electric transportation

• Support carbon pricing to pressure and incentivize companies to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions

• Prioritize environmental justice and support the communities that are most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change

• Invest in green jobs and support the transition into a green economy
